The environment of education should be one that encourages the growth of free, creative individuality, in which students can get as much experience necessary to be lifelong learners. The goal of education is to provide children with the knowledge of all subject areas and also include the social and emotional literacy part of education. Students need to feel nurtured and safe in their school environment. The school should provide for group thinking that fosters cooperation. The teachers and staff should model behaviors that the children need in order to be successful learners. The teachers should also guide and advise students with values and reason. Instruction should include higher order thinking questions and great discussion so that students can communicate and express their ideas. The parents and teachers need to work together in to help the students become the best they can be. All stakeholders in the school should work in collaboration and share ideas with one another. The community needs to be involved in the education of the students. The curriculum should be rigorous and there should be high expectations for all population of students. The vision for all stakeholders is to prepare the students for their future and become college and career ready.
